When next you visit Marrakech look out for The Seven Saints, seven three-story towers located on the outskirts of the city that bear the tombs of seven saliheen (righteous men) from the 12th to 16th century.
The view from the Elizabethan Tower at Sissinghurst Castle looking north, north west over the front range, restaurant and oast-houses in June. A new project aims to reconnect the garden at Sissinghurst with the surrounding farm landscape, by creating a vegetable garden to supply the restaurant with organic produce and re-establishing the farmland as a mixed Wealden farm, such as would have existed in 1930 when the property was bought by Vita sackville-West and Harold Nicolson.
