Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort

After a renovation of over $100 million, Jalousie Plantation has relaunched as Sugar Beach, a Viceroy Resort. The property, sandwiched between St. Lucia’s towering Pitons, has powdery Sugar Beach and the Caribbean Sea at one end and lush rain forest engulfing the other. The three-year project saw the addition of 59 new villas and eight new Luxury Beachfront Bungalows, the revamp of 11 Luxury Sugar Mill Rooms, and the opening of the new 9,427-square-foot Rainforest Spa.

Set within more than 100 acres of lush rain forest and embraced by the island’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed Pitons, Sugar Beach is Caribbean paradise, with several sophisticated bars and restaurants, a Kids Club, the incredible Rainforest Spa, and activities such as SCUBA diving and snorkeling excursions.
