Tony Chi is an award-winning designer and founder of tonychi and associates. Since opening the firm in 1984, he’s come to international renown for the environments he creates, particularly in luxury hotels and restaurants in cities around the world including New York, London, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. Thirty years in, Mr. Chi’s firm has designed some 700 restaurants and innumerable hotels on four continents. He’s the go-to designer for hospitality brands including – but not limited to – Park Hyatt, Andaz, Rosewood, Ritz Carlton, and InterContinental. As of 2014, Mr. Chi’s recently completed projects include Andaz Tokyo, Rosewood London, InterContinental Geneva and Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou. Current projects include Park Hyatt Moscow, Grand Hyatt Chengdu, the restaurants at Mandarin Oriental Taipei, and Wolfgang Puck’s Cut restaurant.

tonychi and associates is a global design studio established in 1984 and headed by Tony Chi. They have executed projects across the United States, Europe, South Pacific Asia and Middle East, including residential projects in Beverly Hills, Hong Kong and the Fiji Islands. Some of the most noted projects include the Park Hyatt Shanghai and Andaz 5th Avenue in New York, and most currently in development the renovation of the iconic Carlyle Hotel. The firm has garnered more than 30 awards for its design excellence and has in its portfolio notable projects like Ritz-Carlton in Singapore, Mandarin Oriental in Guangzhou, InterContinental in Geneva and Park Hyatt in Moscow.
