Despite all the talk nowadays, doesn’t it seem like you can only find good ‘deals’ on the most average of rooms? Well, Crystal Cruises is standing out from the crowd of so-so savings and giving its guests honest-to-goodness bang for the buck.  This May, guests onboard Crystal Serenity can save $3,000 on a 7-day sailing  (Rome to Athens, May 11-18; Athens to Venice, May 18-25) ) or $6,000 on a 14-day sailing (Rome to Venice, May 11-25) when booking a Penthouse fare.  Fares are per person, for double occupancy and must be booked by March 31st.

Ready for the math? Crystal’s 2-for-1 promotion this year brings the Penthouse fare from $20, 510 to $10,255, and on these particular voyages, the fare is knocked down an additional $1,500 per person reducing it to $8, 775 per person. To sweeten the deal even further, Crystal includes free Business class flights and $1,000 per couple worth of shipboard credits. It’s also possible to do these sailings back to back for a 14-day voyage, save $6,000 and get $2,000 in shipboard credits.
